The UNIBLITZ® shutter line has proven to be a beneficial enhancement to a number of microscopy and video imaging applications. Due to the growing demand for shutters capable of addressing the needs in these two application areas, Vincent Associates has designed mounting systems that can be interfaced with popular microscopes and video systems. Below, you will find information on mounting options available for Zeiss, Nikon, Olympus, and Leica type microscopes, along with "F-C", "C", and "T" video mounts. The various mounting selections found on this sheet are available as an option with any of our series #2 or specific #3 cased shutters. When ordering one of these options, please refer to the "Product Options" section of the specific shutter series you are interested in. After reviewing this information of the selected shutter seriest, if you cannot find what is required for your particular application, please contact our technical representatives for further assistance.
For microscopy applications utilizing mercury arc lamps, we strongly recommend the "R1" enhancement. This internal shutter modification allows specific shutter devices to operate properly under the heat generated by mercury arc lamps. When ordering the "R1" option, the shutter would, in most applications be equipped with the "ZM" blade coating.
